We have premiered NOT FOR NOTHING at the 2022 Philadelphia Film Festival where we were pleased to receive an official honorable mention from the judges as being one of the most authentic & refreshing films they have seen this year; with an emphasis on Peter Petrikios’s riveting portrayal of an Italian American South Philly street junkie named “Dommy Rocks”.
The following week we screened at Reading, Pennsylvania’s annual film festival winning 1st place. We received best picture, as well as several other awards. We anticipate with pleasing expectation the future will hold more successes paralleled to these.
Next stop, Asbury Park, New Jersey for the March 25th screening at the Garden State Film Festival.
We edited our film in a very unorthodox fashion!

An old-school mob war on the
streets of modern-day South Philly
When a local bar owner’s teenage daughter dies from a sudden fentanyl overdose, her boyfriend and his neighborhood buddies decide to investigate her mysterious death. What they discover will change the course of all of their lives forever.
South Philadelphia during the winter holidays. It’s a rough and grimy city made up of narrow streets lined with row houses. The neighborhood, once flooded with Italian immigrants, is now gentrified with 20-something hipsters. The Mafia once ran these streets, but today their rule is a distant memory of the past. Or at least, it appears to be.
